The goal was to find a Growth & Marketing Lead capable of building the GTM function and elevating the B2B SaaS product to a new level of growth.

  • 3+ years driving B2B SaaS growth from Seed/Series A to $10M ARR, focusing on US-centric GTM.
  • Experience in the Cyber/DevSecOps/DevTools domain is a strong advantage.

Challenges
The core difficulty was finding a marketer who could effectively communicate with a highly technical audience, meaning they needed previous experience with security or DevTools products. Such specialists are extremely rare.

Our solution

We began the search in a narrow niche–among marketers from AppSec and DevSecOps products. Although we quickly found a candidate with ideal domain experience, compensation expectations did not align with the client’s budget in the final stage.
Following this, we conducted a joint profile calibration and expanded the strategy, focusing on experts from B2B SaaS startups working with complex technical products. Within this broadened funnel, we found "the one": the candidate successfully passed all stages, accepted the offer, and perfectly fit the budget.
